Regarding Our Closure & Response to COVID-19
To Our La Grange Theatre Friends and Family,
I have made the difficult decision to close the La Grange Theatre from March 17th until we feel it is safe to do so. While I believe that in today’s stressful environment created by the unknown we can all use an escape into the fantasy and make-believe-worlds created by Hollywood, the health and safety of our community and our team is our number one priority. Motion picture theaters are intended to be a place of entertainment and gathering for friends, family and communities. However, until we have better control over the spread of COVID-19, I believe it is prudent to not encourage the congregating of people which we are proud that the La Grange Theatre has encouraged in our community since 1925.
We will continue to monitor closely the information provided by our governmental bodies and the CDC and appreciate your patience, understanding and support during these unprecedented times. We know that the coming days will continue to bring challenges for all of us. However, as a small business owner, supporting our local community is truly at the core of our organization, and we look forward to opening our doors and seeing you at the movies soon.
